Terms of Service

General terms

  • Terevo is a provider of: utilization based software platform subscriptions and web solutions integration services.
  • The service has a monthly utilization base cost, payable through various modes.
  • The base service includes:
    • Domain name registration or transfer, as well as its yearly renewal throughout the duration of the contract.
    • Web hosting. The hosting is hired out to an external provider; Terevo assumes management of the hosting account.
    • Platform integration, basic personalization and publishing of a web solution.
    • Email accounts with the chosen domain, via Google Apps. The service includes setup and configuration of 5 accounts, with a maximum of 50 accounts configurable by the customer.
    • Web traffic statistics via Google Analytics. The customer can access the service control panel and see graphs and detailed reports of visitor traffic.
    • Complete technical management of all components of the Terevo software platform.
  • A basic web solution includes the following characteristics:
    • User interface from one up to ten web pages, which can include:
      • Text, hyperlinks, images, videos, animations, documents and other standard web content, belonging to the customer.
      • An email contact form.
      • Integration of content belonging to the customer that resides in publicly accessible third party services or applications, such as: Facebook galleries, YouTube and Vimeo videos, Blogger blogs, among others.
      • Integration of publicly accessible external content and applications, such as: Google Maps, Google Forms y Google Calendars, among others.
      • Integration with customer proprietary external applications that have been developed or modified by Terevo or its affiliates, in compliance with the platform's integration specifications.
    • Content management web tools: the customer may modify and publish their content from any web browser, without need of intervention by Terevo's personnel.
    • Multilanguage features: the content can be available in two languages; with a simple mechanism for switching between them (the customer must provide original text and translations).
    • Web solution optimization for compatibility with search engines (SEO friendly): the web solution will comply with primary standard code requirements for compatibility with Google and other search engines, which enables proper indexation and placement in search results.
  • Customers may opt to purchase additional services and features not included in the basic package, such as: sales catalog, content creation support, additional pages packages, additional languages, as well as custom design, development and integration, among others.
    • Additional services and features may be delivered by Terevo or any of its affiliates.
    • Specific terms, costs and duration will be defined at launch time (features) or per offer (custom services and development).

Responsibilities and warrants

  • Terevo offers to maintain, update and optimize its software platform to ensure the correct functioning of published web solutions.
  • Terevo cannot guarantee uptime nor assume responsibility for interruptions that may occur from third party services, whether they are hired out to a provider or offered through external integration, beyond the provider's own warranties.
    • Terevo cannot assume responsibility for the effect that any change on third party services or applications may have on published web solutions, whether they are hired out to a provider or offered through external integration.
    • Terevo offers to attend to all customer concerns regarding third party services, manage their resolution through available means and keep customers informed about the service's status.
    • Some examples of third party services are: web hosting, email services, web traffic statistics services, search engines, Facebook, YouTube, Blogger and Google Maps, among others.
  • The user registered in Terevo's platform as the main customer contact, assumes complete responsibility for content that is added, referenced, linked (hyperlinks and references) or integrated on the web solution. Responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
    • Ensuring ownership or appropriate copyright holder status for all text, graphical, and audiovisual content, among others.
    • Ensuring that all content is legal, non offensive and non harmful for presentation in all countries and to all audiences that may have access to it.
  • Terevo reserves the right to remove content partially or entirely from the platform, under their own criteria, as well as the right to cancel temporarily or permanently all accounts and users associated to any customer that fails to comply with the Terms of Services agreement, without reimbursement.

Required customer assets

  • The customer must identify the desired layout to be used for constructing their web solution, as well as all personalization elements (color palette, font types, sections, element location and features, among others).
  • The customer must define all pages and sections to be included.
  • Each page or section must specify the desired name and all of the elements to be included, as well as any other specification regarding content, layout and design.
  • The customer must provide all necessary content elements (logo, text, photos, animation, video and translations, among others), as well as assume any additional cost associated to it or to the rights to use it (stock photography purchases for example).
    • In case that the content (text and images) is available before construction, Terevo will provide the service of including it into the pages during their construction.
    • If upon the completion of the web solution's development and integration into Terevo's platform, the complete final content has not yet been provided, the solution will be delivered with temporary content to be replaced by the customer.

Development duration

  • The estimated duration for construction and integration of a basic web solution into the platform is a week.
  • Deviation from the estimated time of duration may occur from, without being limited to, the following conditions:
    • Duration higher to 48 hours in the definition of design, personalization and content for the solution.
    • Changes to design, personalization and content elements during or after the construction process.
    • Delays from the current web hosting provider in case of pre-existing domain name transfers.
    • Duration higher to 48 hours in the incorporation of content following solution delivery.
    • Duration higher to 24 hours in the approval or feedback of deliverables.
    • Requests for services, features or development additional to the basic package.
    • Unusually high Terevo team workloads (in such cases the possibility of delay will be communicated to customers prior to the contract being formalized).

Service cost and modes of payment

  • Service base cost is defined monthly and payable through one of the available modes.
  • The minimum contract is for a year of service.
  • Predefined contracts are for one, two or three years: payable in advance at the time of contract formalization; these contracts include incremental incentives in the form of additional months without cost.
  • Payments for less than a year do not carry incentives and are defined on a case by case basis according to customer needs.
  • Payments for more than three years do not carry a predefined incentives package. For these cases, personalized incentive and benefits packages are designed on a case by case basis according to customer needs and service requirements.
  • Terevo will notify each customer regarding their renewal as the expiration of the subscribed period approaches.
    • If a customer has not paid for renewal before their existing subscription expires, the account will be automatically suspended by the platform and all associated web solutions will become inaccessible.
    • A reactivation fee will be charged for each suspended package.
    • Any account that remains suspended for three consecutive months may be automatically deleted from the platform permanently without possibility of recovery.
